In Writer, I have a table with two columns, and the contents of the second column stretch across several pages. I’d like to know how to repeat the contents of the first column if it gets split over two pages. I know how to repeat a row but not how to repeat a column.
To put it short: you can not. I can see how this sometimes is useful, but it is really really rare use case. Have you considered using LaTeX?
Edit: If it’s one off and you are in a hurry, then you could just do it manually, splitting the second column by hand at the page break. Technically not nice, but works if you do layout only after the content is finished (you don’t fix text later so you would repaginate everything again).
