Prioritize overlapping conditional format?

Hey I’m using LibreOffice on Ubuntu 14.04. I am trying to figure out how to prioritize or apply one conditional formatting after another.

For example, I have one rule that adds a background color to every odd number row in my worksheet. I also have a rule that says any blank cell within a set of columns apply a red background color. The problem is the odd number highlighting happens to applied later so only the white rows have the red background color applied.

I think I have got it now… but it’s not quite the solution I wanted. I guess libreoffice prioritizes the rules in the order you add them.

So I created 1 rule for the red background blank cells first and then the grey background for the odd rows second. Works for now I just wish there was an easier way to prioritize rules over each other with overlapping ranges.
