I am totally unable to save a document unless I am opening an old (more than 6 months maybe) document, clear it and save as a new one.
I am on windows 7 64bit pro. with libreoffice 4.2.4.
PS: I had the same problem with openoffice and that’s why I changed…!
Could please describe in detail what you are doing to save a file? This would provide needed information.
Well… Like everyone else, I push the “floppy” icon or go in File/Save or File/Save As. Is there another way??!
As you experienced the same problem with two different brands of the software, the reasons might rather lie in something connected to your system or the special way you installed software or (a) corrupted profile(s) or …
What are the paths for saving? Are you the only user? Might there be a problem with rights? Did you already try to reset the profile? Did you install LibO into the same folder as OO was before … ?
