In Calc, is there a way to keep a formula visible when you click on a cell, even after saving a closing/re-opening a Calc document? Currently after the formula is used, upon re-opening the spreadsheet it only displays the formulas results in the input line. I would like to have the formula’s visibility retained in the input/formula line at all times. Only in the cell do I wish to have the formulas output displayed.
What you want is default and I never observed a behaviour as you described it. The only way I know to exclude formulae from showing in the edit control is using the protection tool. Can you describe in detail what you did before closing and reopening your Calc file?
