Can you insert tabs within a form?

I have a form that looks like an index card that I need to add information on 1 line. I also need to tab over 2 times to seperate information from each other. Just wondering if you can add tabs within a line. Thank you.

4.2.2.1 in Libre base

Hi castron :

Base is not a word-processor, and you should not expect to be able to use formatting tools like tabs in a Base form’s fields (text boxes, etc). Usually pressing tab will just take you to the ‘next’ field in the form (as you probably already found out!).

Of course, you can format Base output by creating a ‘report’ in Base’s REPORT BUILDER or simply create a suitable FORM to display your data in a suitable format for printing.

I never used Base but recommend you to just try it and have a look into the free manuals, which you find here: http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/documentation/

I didn’t use base before can you tell me how to start using of it?

Please use the answer option only to answer the main question, not to ask unrelated questions or comment. Thanks.

Maybe this thread in ApacheOpenOffice forum can help:
