I use custom styles within a document, and save as .docx
Each time I reopen a document with the embedded styles, I lose the alignment formatting and need to reset it. Any help appreciated.
In my experience, DOCX format is often twitchy. If you must use it, then edit your document in ODT or even DOC until the last moment, then save out as DOCX. (FWIW)
