How to format text in a Draw table?

Is it possible to format text in Draw table cells? More specifically:

1. To rotate text - I’m trying to achieve the same effect with rotating column names as you can in Calc.
2. Reduce the indentation to zero - the paragraph indentation is set at zero but still the text is indented.

May be this is two questions - and will split if necesary - however I don’t see anyway to format the text in the same way that it is possible in Writer.

i made a test using LibO4.2.4.2 running on XP/SP3

Text direction:
I selected a cell, or a row, or a column, or all cells of a table and changed the text direction using the tool:

Indent
I selected a cell, or a row, or a column, or all cells of a table and changed the text direction then:
Format > Paragraph > Indents & Spacing and selected the indent I wanted to have.

The same should be possible in Writer.

If my answer does not solve your problem, please advice on all steps you took and their results. Also advice on LibO version and OS.

@aapthorp - I am sorry that the Indent-topic is not yet solved. I made again a test but did not select the cell but only the text. In this case it is not possible to change the direction of the text. Other attempts to change the directions with selected text where not successful as well.

I assume now that there is a difference between LibO on XP and Ubuntu. However, you might also need to suspect a bug.

I’m using LibO4.2.4.2 on Ubuntu 14.04
I can do everything you describe in Writer. For some reason the text direction icons aren’t displayed even though the tool is enabled. Therefore I right click on the text and select Paragraph Style and then on the position tab I have the option to rotate the text. In Draw I don’t have the same options, the right click Position menu option has rotation options greyed out and Edit Style doesn’t have a postion tab.

For indentation, I’ve found that this does work in Draw, but you need to also set the Table Properties>Boundary>Spacing to contents to zero, as well to remove any space, as in Writer. However, in Draw you have to be careful whether you select certain cells or the table. In Writer this option seems to affect the whole table. In Draw you can change ‘Spacing to contents’ for different cells.
