Is it possible to change both the stroke and the fill color of the selected icon for a data series? If ‘Symbol’ is selected under the ‘Icon’ menu in the ‘Format Data Series’ dialogue, it appears that one can only select the fill color (which is also the color for the optional connecting line), but not the color for the stroke surrounding the symbol.
Maybe selecting from gallery can help, where I think you can add your own symbols.
