LibreOffice 4.3 Writer conversion of docx to 2003 xml format

Hi,

I have been using LibreOffice Writer to convert my MS Word 2010 docx file into xml 2003 format. This file is a database of variables and their corresponding metadata. Once converted, I merge this file with another xml file, matching variables between the 2 files, so that metadata from the first file will be incorporated in the second file. I had no problem doing this before and my php script runs properly, I am able to get my desired result as well. This time, however, although my program still runs without error, the 2 files are not merging successfully. Hoping for a quick response. I can send the my files and script for further investigation.

Please edit your question to provide before / after examples of XML statements being merged. It is not at all clear from the question exactly what is being attempted and to what degree this may be a problem with LO or the old Flat OPC file format.

If confirmed this is a regression in branch 4.3.

In any case you should NOT be using version 4.3.0 (or ANY version named x.x.0 from TDF) for production.

@shine.cagas, even if the bug you reported is picked up by a developer and fixed now, it will only be available on the next release (i.e. 4.3.1) by the end of August. If you need this feature now, I suggest that you uninstall 4.3.0 and install 4.2.6 which which was released today.
