This is for Windows but might also apply to Mac. I download with Firefox and after LO goes to the donation page a warning pops up as line on top of the page: "The webpage want to redirect to an other site" and a button "Allow". I have to click the button and then the download start, otherwise nothing happens.

Simply don't donate and download the installer. I never had a situation where the download didn't start.

I'm running Mac OS X 10.9 and using Google Chrome and have the same issue but there is no way to bypass it. I happily donated the first time through but when I went back to get the SDK, and it again asked for a donation, with no way to bypass it, I was considerably less happy. I have used LibreOffice (before OpenOffice) for a long time. I've donated before. However, this time, the nag screen is just too much. I could not find a way to bypass it either and there is no "contact Us" on the website other than these forums.
