How can I print a table from Base?

I made a simple table in open office base, called “Table Data View”, which I need to print. I can’t find any way to realize this as this item is shaded in the menu list

I use Open Office 4.1.0 on Windows 7 (Dutch)

  1. Open a new Calc sheet
  2. In the list of tables of your ODB file, select the table you want to print (dont’t open it).
  3. Drag and drop this table onto your blank Calc sheet in the cell of your choice, e.g. A1).
  4. Print out your sheet after additional optional formatting.

ALTERNATIVELY

  1. Open a blank Writer document
  2. In the list of tables of your ODB file, select the table you want to print (dont’t open it).
  3. Drag and drop this table onto your blank Writer document.
  4. The data merge wizard will start - choose Table if you want your data to appear in tabular form. You can also add extra formatting via the Autoformat option, or do this yourself afterwards.
  5. Print out.
