How can I copy a cell from sheet1 to a cell in sheet8?

Example: I have $3.50 in cell A1 of sheet1 (Gold) and I want to place that amount in cell A1 of sheet8 (Summary). This amount could change, in cell A! sheet1, and I want it to automatically update cell A1 in sheet8.

@karolus, you should make that an answer. Besides, if you add both dollars in the column/cell reference, it’ll always stay the same when copied to another cell, which mostly isn’t the desired.
