Changes made in Tools > Footnotes/Endnotes > "Before" or "After" are not saved if the file is saved as a .doc file. Compatibility has gotten so good in LO, and this is a minor but potentially annoying compatibility problem, since almost universally businesses expect .doc as the standard and .odt files are still only useful for work that won't be shared, or can be shared via hard copy or .pdf. Is there any fix for this?
