Apart from adjusting Indent and Spacing in Paragraph Styles, if I want to give some additional space before the next paragraph, How can I do it? Is using ENTER(Carriage Return) Key is right or wrong way of doing it?

Under the Indents & Spacing tab > Spacing section > adjust Below paragraph value as required. This tab is available for direct formatting (Format > Paragraph...) and paragraph styles (in sidebar on the Styles & Formatting panel):

But it'll set the spacing of all paragraphs while I just want to set it for an individual paragraph?

The direct formatting option will only affect the current paragraph. The paragraph style option will affect all paragraphs associated with the style.
