I would like to have a sniper crosshair in calc for the selected cell. That means not only the row and column headers should be highlighted, but the the row and column of the selected cell as well.

The highlight row feature is widely implemented in a lot of text editors an just like there, it would help to visually identify components belonging together on a screen with high resolution.

Thanks! Gábor

Excellent. Thanks for pointing that out. I will close this question. I knew I had seen this before, but I couldn't find it at the time.

This is enhancement request fdo#33201. The result of having it implemented would be something like:

highlight entire row and column
