How can I delete selected document icons in Start Center of Writer? [closed]

Document icons appear automatically on the opening page (Start Center) of Writer. Two questions:

How can I delete some or all of the icons? Right-clicking an icon offers no menu.

2 Can I resize an icon?

Hello,

in Libreoffice 4.3.1.2 in the start up screen you can use the File menu - Recent documents - Clear list, to delete all the recent documents, so that the start up list will be clear. Also in this LO version you can choose the (X) button in the upper right corner of the thumbnail.

As far as i know you can not resize icons.
