How to remove the slide numbering in Impress

Each slide of my presentation appears sequentially numbered at the bottom (somewaht to the right). I want to remove this numbering. How to do that?

In english:
Menu: View → Header and Footer → deselect Slide number

En español:
Menu: Ver → Encabezado y pie de página → deseleccionar Número de diapositiva
