In sheet A cell a1 has a comment (note). In sheet B cell b2 contains a reference to the A.a1. Can things be arranged so that the comment attached to A.a1 shows up as a comment attached to B.b2?
Yes it is not possible to see the cell comment in as long as both sheets are in the same Calc file.
- Copy you cell a1 of sheet A into clipboard
- Place cursor in cell b2 of sheet B (of the same Calc file)
- Paste special and select ALL and LINK
However it is not possible if the target sheet (B) is in a different Calc file. This could be a bug. Feel free to report it here: https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/
