Calc: some LO bugs with select and find/replace

Recently installed LO 3.4.5 under Fedora 16 – apparently now the default, replacing OpenOffice. Not terrifically impressed so far. Some bugs (or non-features) I have noticed:
-The find/replace dialogue doesn’t offer the option of (1) search in values (not in formulas); (2) using regexp – or, in fact, any options at all. Just a couple of buttons in a toolbar. Unless I am missing something.

-The ctrl+[up|down|…] field selection method doesn’t work properly. In OO (and every other civilized spreadsheet), if you have, say, 2 columns where col 1 is filled from row 1:100 and col 2 is empty, you can copy a value, anchor the Select in field 1 of col 2, then use col 1 to extend the Select down to row 100, then move back over to col 2 for the Paste. In LO if your Select is anchored in an empty column then it perforce extends all the way to the end of the sheet. For those of us who depend on keyboard shortcuts (ctrl-down, for example) to work rapidly in spreadsheets this is a huge annoyance.
