When I make labels for my artwork, I sometimes only want to print a few off a page. In Neooffice, they have an option that comes up after I select print and only if I highlight a few labels on a page of labels. When I tried to do this selective printing in Libreoffice, I ended up with ten printed pages of labels besides the single one I wanted to print.
Writer should work just the same as Neooffice - I would think.
I tried selecting a part of text in a document and also tried a label page and both worked using the following:
Select (highlight) the desired text.
File - Print - select the General tab on the print dialog, under Range and Copies click the Selection bubble and then OK to print it.
(The text selected should show up in the preview window.)
