Disable position reset after autosave

When the “Save AutoRecovery Information…” option (Options::Load/Save - General) is active and an autosave event occurs, the page view is reset to the last editing position, rather than left at the current viewing location.

For example, if I’m editing the document on page 20 and scroll back to page 10 to review, when an auto save event occurs the view will be reset to page 20.

How can this feature (reset to last saved edit) be disabled without disabling autosave?

I face the same problem. I think this questions is very relevant and not at all outdated. It is unfortunate that no one has answered to it.
