How to add unicode text in calc(excel) in libreoffice

Want to Enter Unicode Text(Tamil Language Character - Indian Language) in calc(Spreadsheet). Currently using LibreOffice Version: 4.1.5.3.

I have a Tamil font selector.

FYI, I am able to add this tamil unicode font in LibreOffice Writer, but when I insert/add the same text, I am getting square boxes.

please guide us.

May set up in the font tab of the style properties could help.
