Writer - Delete a page which is wrong format mid doc

I have a page that’s in the wrong format midway through the document, so there’s no header / footer etc.

Changing the page style for it is messing other things up for some reason, so I just want to outright delete the page.

I’m not sure how to do this though, it’s not a case of there being hidden carriage returns - I want to delete the whole page.

Thanks!

Don’t delete your page!

I would do the following:

  • Select the whole page > right click > select Clear direct formatting
  • Next open the Style and Formatting window using e.g F11 > click Paragraph Style (most left tab)
  • Check paragraph by paragraph which style is used
  • Identify the paragraph you find most suitable for your document
  • If needed modify the paragraph style(s) in the Styles and Formatting window > right click on the style name > modify > apply > OK and all paragraphs with the modifies style we be adjusted to the new style.

I also recommend to read the free of charge manual’s chapter on Styles and Formatting. The Styles and Formatting feature of LibO is very excellent. Download the manual here: http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/documentation/
