I want to remove LO

I have OpenOffice and since I downloaded LibreOffice, I’ve been having problems with both.

I simply wish to remove OO. When I try, it tell me to exist LO Quickstart and I don’t know how to do that.

I am not surprised that you have troubles with OO and LibO being installed the same time. LibO and OO have the same origin and therefore can create conflicts. Here are explanations on how to install several versions of LibO on one machine. Installing several versions of LibreOffice in parallel - The Document Foundation Wiki You might be able to use the information to install OO and LibO parallel on one machine.

As you did not give any information on the OS you are using the following hints on how to remove LibO and OO are more generic.

I would do the following:

  • Follow the way of your OS to uninstall OO and LibO.
  • Additionally I would remove all traces of LibO and OO. For doing so open in LibO Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Paths. There you should find information on where the Application Data folder is located. Delete it.
  • Concerening the applicationa data folder, most likely the same is valid for OO.
  • Restart your machine when all traces of LibO and OO are removed.

Thereafter a new installation should run without problems.
