How to set up LibOffice to load a file when computer starts

LibOffice 4 on LinuxMint 15. MS Excel had some function with special folder which started a file

This is a question in respect to your OS, which is Linux Mint 15. However, here are some links which should help you to autostart LibO in total or in parts like Calc, Writer…

Thank you for the directions. Can’t get it working yet but I am trying. Names of prg are still to cryptic for me to find which file to select.

Then I recommend the Mint Forum. I made good experience there.

After many restart trying things I have the answer. Thanks to some hints in above help.
First find Startup Application (simply search for it)
click on ADD
fill in a name for your info
BROWSE in File system to USR
open this
find BIN
open this
scroll to the program (application) you need
in my case it is LOCALC (LibOffice spreadsheet)
click on it
hit the SAVE button
on your next cold start this application will be open.
Now my problem continued because I not only wanted the application open at start I also wanted my file open.
Long story short answer. When you shut down the computer with the file open it will start again next time.
Now my question is, where could I have found an answer to my problem in the help area?

I suggest that you add to Startup Programs a link to the file you want opened. Due to the Application Links created by LibreOffice, it should open the prerequisite program before loading the file.

Good Luck
