Why is there a black strip print on the left side of the envelope

I am using Write’s Insert/Envelope. I selected #10 envelope and I get a width that extends above the 4.128" size. The margin on the left shows 2+ inches more above the 4.128". Also, when I print this envelope, it is printing a black strip on the left side that is an 1/8" from the left edge and an 1/8" wide.

Are there settings I am missing to get the correct envelope size and no black strip on the left?

Which printer do you use? Please try to set the actual page size of the envelope directly in Format > Page. Modern printer drivers are in most cases able to use this setting.
