changing starting number value on a list without affecting other lists [closed]
I only recently switched from Word to LO writer and have run into something I cannot figure out.
In Word on numbered lists you can check either "start new list" or "continue from previous list" and then enter into the "set value to" field whatever you want the starting value to be and that change will not affect any preceding list in the document
I have not found a way to do the same thing in LO writer. No matter what I do, when I change the starting value on one list, it affects other lists, including preceding lists, in the document.
What can I do to solve this problem?
Any help will be much appreciated.
I ran across this while researching LibreOffice.
