Custom animation not picking up whole object

Hi there,

Would appreciate any help with an issue in the Impress/Presentation program in LO.

I am adding a custom animation transition to an object in a slide. When adding and previewing, it works correctly, but when going to SlideShow and viewing the animation only works on the first line of text in the object (text box) to which the animation has been applied. This means that my reveal doesn’t work as the remaining lines of text are already present on the slide!

Any help appreciated!

I too had problems with custom animation. However when I installed 3.5.4 or 3.5.5 (don’t remember exactly) the problem disappeared.

Hi @Fraola12, Did @ROSt53’s answer fix your problem? Please let us know so we can resolve this question appropriately.

Hi quibit your question is a good one. I am too would like to know if the later versions are ok. If not it would be needed to get an example.

Hello,
I have this same problem in LO 4. Never met it before. It looks like something went wrong with animations from 3.5 to 4.0. Quite annoying indeed.

Hi @pincopallino,
