I have a Dell 1135n printer and am using a Samsung driver (as provided as an option). But I also downloaded the Dell 1135n driver. But neither work all the time. I get the error message identified above. Please help.

Based on what you explain I expect the problem has to do with your printer set-up and OS. Thus I expect that the same problem occurs when you print out from another application.
Please check if you can create a test print from your printer and from a simple text editor.
