Why is it when I right click the text is in Chinese and everything else is in english?
Please help the helper to help you and explain a bit more. Ideally provide some screenshots.
For Windows 7 perform the following steps and check if it helps.
- Click on Start and click on Control Panel.
- Click on Language and click on Advanced Settings.
- Click on Override for Windows display language and select English.
I don’t know if it happens for Win 10 but if it does then left click on the language in bottom right next to the time. Select Language Preferences. Check that your Default app language, Default input language, and Windows display language are the ones you want. Otherwise click on the Options button and change to required.
What platform (Ubuntu, MacOS, Windows, etc.) are you using. Also list the version number for the operating system, e.g. Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 9, etc. In addition, what version of LibreOffice are you using.
Does this problem occur with all documents or only a single document. What changes to Chinese when you right-click. Is it a pop-up menu that changes to Chinese, a highlighted section of text that changes to Chinese etc.

Within the application, there should be a set of preferences for your installation of the application. Under Language Settings → Languages, what are the settings under Language of user interface, Language of locale setting, Default Language for Documentation
