Recovery is a normal behaviour if during a previous run any of LibreOffice applications was not closed properly. It may be a result of an application or an operating system crash, a forced system shutdown, but also some other circumstances, like suspending the system to RAM and then exhausting the battery (technically, it still counts as an operating system crash).
