Can document properties be updated from content?

I’ve created a custom property (File->Properties->Custom Properties) and inserted this field in a Writer document.

Is there any way I can have this property updated by editing directly in the Writer document instead of going back to File->Properties ? (Microsoft Office have this feature as a “Link to Content” checkbox in their properties dialog)
