How to find a word or phrase in libre office?

A helpful Search feature. How to find a word or phrase like Case 1: If I wanted to search for a phrase or word within one document for certain word(s) such as: red car (or "car") be highlighted/indicated? Could all the the phrases that have the line "Red Car" (car) be highlighted/indicated?

How to find a word or phrase like Case 2: Could all the Libre Office documents that contain the phrase "red car" (Or Red Car") be highlighted/indicated.

I can help in respect of case 1 only. Open the Document in question. Press Ctrl+F and enter the search phrase or word and then click Find All. You will see the occurances all highlighted.

I know of no way to search documents which have not been opened from within LibreOffice.
