How do I have the columns automatically add up dollar amounts

Hi,

I would like to be able to on the Office writer have the columns automatically add all of my numbers for me an input it at the bottom of the column…Thanks. Ben

I dont use Writer, but maybe this will help

  1. Mark the column you like to have formarted in currency style.
  2. Right click on the marked columns and click on Numberformat (Zahlenformat …)
  3. Set category (Kategorie) to Currency (Währung)
  4. Set format (Format) to “USD $ Englisch (USA)”
  5. Click ok

May be the menu entries have different names, i have only a german version here.
