I want to know if update links works in LibO 4.4.1 or not?

I have a spreadsheet in .xls that when opened prompts the user to update links within the worksheet. The main file is in the server, and when a user opens the spreadsheet it updates the links. Through MS Office, when I click on the update button it works perfectly whereas in LibO an error message is displayed.

In which application do you open the xls-file?

What exactly are you doing when you open you tru to update the links using LibO?
