I deleted both icons, but the thing still wants to steal a quarter inch of my screen every time I use the navigator. How can I get rid of it permanently?
When the tool bar is visible go View > Toolbars > and uncheck the toolbar you don’t want to see.
Even if I do as you advise, the next time I click on a chapter heading (for my book) in the navigator (side menu) the Navigator ToolBar pops up again. I want to kill it altogether.
