If I create a writer document, such as a daily journal, leave the cursor at the end of the entered text, then close the document. When I re-open the same writer document to add text, the cursor reverts to the top of the document. Is there a way to made the cursor come back in the same location as when you close the doc? Joe B…

The bug is still open. It only afflicts 32 bit builds of LibO (Presently all the builds for Win are 32 bit. This is announced to change with V4.5.)
