Missing top of an inserted image in Writer

The top of an inserted image is missing. It is most probably caused by the fact, that the document was originally in docx format. It doesn’t occure in blank new libre office document.
I tried JPEG, GIF and PNG but the result is always the same.

I tried to simulate your problem but see always the top part of the image file (png).

Could you possibly insert a few screen shots?

Right click on the image > Picture > and take screen shots of the tabs: Type, Options, Wrap, Crop, Borders.
