When I use Power Point, the slide pane on the left is moveable. It never used to move around and it drives me crazy because I lose it when I open and close windows. I've tried all I know, now I need some advice. Thank You!

Libre Office on Windows 8.1

Are you talking about Microsoft PowerPoint of LibreOffice Impress? Both applications are similar but not the same. If you really use Microsoft PowerPoint, please ask your question in a Microsoft forum

Should you just call Impress "PowerPoint", please stop this habit.

In Impress you can click the slide pane on top and move it at the side (left or right) and release it when a gray frame show the position. It will stay there.
