insert table rows below by default

When I insert more rows in a table (Table → Row → Insert…), I get the option to insert above (default) or below. I have never had a situation where above was useful, and always use below. Is there a way to set “below” as default?

How to you insert your row?

Hi Fredo. I’m not sure if you are using another version of Writer but mine (Version: 4.1.6.2) on OpenSuse 13.1 has the menu as (Table → Insert → Row) this launches a pop-up box, and as you say the ‘above’ bullet is selected by default.

Hi Fredo, This doesn’t answer your question but it might offer a solution. I use tables a lot, though I never use the menu (Table → Insert → Row), instead I have the table toolbar open all the time, when I need a new row I click the add row button, this inserts a row below the current (cursor position) row with just one click. I hope this helps.
