I am trying to build a template for a web page to work on. I have one text box across the top of the page, one text box column on the left side of the page, two smaller text boxes under the header box and when I try to insert another column-type text box on the right side of the page it keeps moving over to the left side.
It could be that your anchor setting is not matching your needs.
Right click at the text box > Anchor > Page
Thank you for your response ROSt52. You were right, the anchor defaults to paragraph but now I cannot get the text box to stay on the page at all. When I click out of it, it just disappears. I’m going to have to study this a bit more I think before I get the full hang of it. But I will keep your anchor advise in mind once I have mastered the other problem. Thanks again.
I have found that the wrapping settings can affect the stability of text boxes. If “Page Wrap” is selected, then I find that my objects remain in place. (Right click the box boarder, select “Wrap”, select “Page Wrap”)
