Auto return after inputting data in the cell

I wanted to know what macro script are avail in Libreoffice calc 4.4.3.2 windows version for
auto return after inputting data in the cell.
for example

after entering numeric data in A1 i want the cursor to goto the A2 instead of pressing enter

your last Sentence is the contradiction – there is no entering without pressing enter – on which criteria should calc decide your numeric input is complete ???

I don’t know about using a macro.

You can use Tab Key to “Enter” the data and move to the right. This keeps Enter for moving down a cell.

Or under Tools, Options, + LibreOffice Calc (you’ll have to have a spreadsheet open), General, under Input Settings, Change the functionality of the Enter Key with Down, Up, Left, Right.

The easiest answer, I think, is to change to using the arrow keys ( ) rather than the Enter keys ( Enter)). If you press the correct direction key it will both enter the value into the current cell then move the cursor in the direction specified.
