Hi gansub

On both Linux & Windows there are 2 sets of copy/paste commands:-

Copy to Clipboard:- Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert (press both keys at same time)

Paste from Clipboard:- Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (press both keys at same time)

By convention, the Edit menu of every application contains a Copy + Paste command.

If you find that the Paste command is greyed-out, then one application has not placed the text into the Clipboard in the documented manner such that other applications can make use of it (very unfriendly). That is an inter-operability bug, and should be reported like any other bug. I use under Debian & have had some similar results, though in the other direction (from Firefox to LO).
