Ditto. Just noticed some lost data myself today. This is the second time I've suspected this in the last month or so.

Saved/Saving as Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP/2003 (.xls) LibreOffice Version: Build ID: d50a87b2e514536ed401c18000dad4660b6a169e

If you are working under LO and then save in Excel format, there will always be a chance of losing information if you make use of a LO-specific feature that is not supported under Excel. Make sure that you save under the LO format first before exporting to a different format.

Inevitably, there can be losses in both directions where the 2 programs do not support the identical features with 100% compatibility.

With the excessively brief information provided this is the best that can be offered.

If this helps then please tick the answer (✔).
