White screens on opening any program

I am running window 7 64 bit ultimate and Libre Office 4.4.4.3, and have been happy using it as a replacement for all MS products except the OS. My 8.1 notebook continues without problems. We were about to install Libre Office on a number of my companies’ Linux note books.

When open a screen from any program i only get a transparent or white screen. This screen provides the title bar with no menus or tool bars and a frame which picks up what ever screen image is behind it. It seems to start with the recover sized screen but with no button or menu etc.

This seem to occur around a Windows and Nvida update of software but I can be sure of the link.

Like to support this product but the lack of help on this problem is frustrating. Search Google would seem I am not on my own. What can I do or who can support me.

There is a certain kind of character of LO/OO problem that seems to need the identical first-attempt at a fix, and your problem has that character.

A corrupt profile can cause such problems. Fortunately, it is easy to fix (and to reverse):

Re-Setting the User Profile:

1. Close down LO/OO + the Quickstarter
2. Go to your profile
3. Rename the folder
4. Restart the program
   
   (this re-creates a default Profile)
