Hi keepitsimpleengineer

Those options that are "missing" are actually greyed out. As one example, you do not have any text selected, so there is no reason to be able to select the Copy nor Cut options. Further, your Theme is causing those greyed-out items to disappear due to the colour combo in the UI.

In general, the theme chosen for the UI comes from your system. Chasing that down can get really complex with Linux due to the numerous sources from which the theme can be derived.
