How can I select non-adjacent columns in table ?

I have a 5X6 table , and I would like to know how to select column A and column C in Writer and Impress. Thanks.

Upgrade to 5.0.0 [RC5] if not using old OS X.

Control+click the header of each non-adjacent column works in Calc.

I think there is no way to do a multi selection.
