Why is ask.libreoffice.org only available via Plain Text, not HTTPS?

My good god, I just registered here for a question and found out that ask.libreoffice.org is only available via PLAIN TEXT, not HTTPS!

Can I help setting up to be serverd over HTTPS (with best security practises of course).

Using PLAIN TEXT in 2015 is not the solution!

A good question, but it needs to be put to the author of AskBot (the suppliers of the software that drives this site).

Strange, but I checked it now, and it’s going through HTTPS. I will check it again on the original location in a few days.
