I am trying to install version 5 on my XP system, but it fails, saying it needs “LibreOffice_4.2.6-secfix_Win_x86.msi”. Why does it need this, and where can I find it?

The LO programmers are unable to follow the win install procedures fully, which means that Windows needs the MSI from the previous install to be able to un-install all components. All LO downloads (current & historic, all platforms) can be obtained via the LO FTP site. All downloads are identified by a 4-digit name, so you will need to find the exact correct MSI filename.
