How can I have shadow on some objects in a presentation sheet but not on all objects?

I'm using libre office impress, and I created a rectangle and a triangle. When I add shadow to the rectangle, the shadow is added to the triangle toWhen I remove the shadow from the triangle, it dispappears from the square too.

From what you describe, I think you apply the shadow by right-clicking the object and then Edit Style> Shadowing tab. By doing so, you modify the default style ... of all objects.

The simplest technique to do shading an object is to apply the Object with shadow style:

  1. Select the object
  2. Display Style panel in the sidebar
  3. Double click on the chosen style
